Season Closure
Dear Members,
Curling in the Yellow Phase
With the province going back to the Yellow Phase of COVID restrictions on March 8, here are the changes for us:
- While the wearing of masks is encouraged on the ice, they are no longer required while curling.
- Masks may be taken off WHILE SEATED in the lounge.
- Bonspiels with limited capacity are permitted.
- Games can be competitive.
Assume all other requirements remain in effect, including:
- Masks are to be worn at all times except when on the ice surface or when seated in the lounge.
- Hands to be sanitized upon entering the building.
- Six feet physical distancing must be respected at all times.
- Beverages are NOT to be taken out into the rink.
- No handshakes.
- Only one sweeper.
- Etc.
